Circular Logic or Vicious Cycle whichever it still sucks

Don't you just love circular logic? How about vicious circles? In my mind the two are very close. Well I do! What is circular logic you ask? Well according to wikipedia circular logic/argument is in which the evidence given for a proposition is as much in need of proof as the proposition itself.
For Example:
* Suppose Paul is not lying when he speaks.
* Whoever speaks and is not lying is telling the truth.
* Therefore, Paul is telling the truth.

Vicious cycle isn't it? Well that's how my mom thinks and somewhere in that cycle I have been inserted and have become the focal point of all the blame. Let's examine shall we.

*My mom is a student that keeps failing because she doesn't study. As oppose to studying she cleans and cleans because we believe her to be obsessive compulsive.
*My dad therefore tries to clean up the mess he makes so mom wouldn't have to do it but since he works 2 jobs so that my mom can go to school he's a little tired. But my mom is glad my dad cleaned the kitchen so to show her appreciation she then proceeds to, not study but to, clean the rest of the house.
*Now here's how it all ties in. If my mom would just study instead of cleaning then she can pass and get a better wage at work so my dad can quit one of his jobs but instead of studying she cleans and cleans which leads to her flunking said class and once more not graduating.

Somewhere in that circle I got inserted I don't know why but don't you know it's all my fault? Why my mom is can't pass and why she is still in school (it's going on for 4 years now, please note that I just moved here 3 months ago.) ? Well it all makes perfect sense to me (insert heavy dose of sarcasm) isn't it obvious to you???
